Design and energy analysis of a new fault-tolerant SRAM cell in quantum-dot cellular automata

Quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) is an emerging technology proposed in response to the limitations of CMOS technology. Moreover, static RAM (SRAM) crucial for memory design, and efficient design can play a significant role. This paper proposes fault-tolerant QCA SRAM cell based on three- five-input majority gates. implemented single layer does not require any rotated cell, which significantly improves manufacturability robustness design. Furthermore, our tolerate omission fault. The 3-input gate complexity, area, energy dissipation, average, by 54%, 68%, 67% 1 Ek, respectively, as compared its previous counterparts. total dissipation almost 13%, 25%, 35% state-of-the-art QCA-based single-layer counterpart.
